How do you estimate a project?
First we set scope and priorities in writing, and the estimate follows from that. Unless the work is simple and standard, we start with a short preliminary analysis, so that we never have to make up an estimate.

It depends on the scope, so we set the timeframe once the scope is defined. We work in phases, each with an agreed objective, deliverable and date, so you can review progress without waiting for a single delivery at the end.
Who does the work?
Product and engineering are led directly by the founder. When a project calls for a specific profile, we bring in specialists, and the responsibility stays the same.
How is confidentiality handled?
It is always included in the contract: you don’t need to ask for it. If you also want a separately signed agreement, we sign one. We keep access to the minimum, only what the work requires, and we publish no client on this website without their express permission.
What if the project has to stop?
If it has to stop, we wind down the work done so far in an orderly way and document where things stand. We then hand over what is due for the work paid for, on the agreed terms. That way you can pick it up again later with us or with another team.
What is a digital product studio, and how does it differ from an agency?
An agency is usually hired for a deliverable: a campaign, a website, a specific piece of work. A digital product studio takes charge of a company’s digital core —defining it, designing it, building it, measuring it and making it evolve— and looks after keeping it working after delivery, within an agreed maintenance plan. The practical difference is not size or price: it is how far the responsibility reaches and how long it lasts.
Where do I start if I don’t know exactly what I need yet?
With a conversation, not a quote. At first contact you don’t need to bring a formal brief or a quote: the problem, how it is solved today and what you would like to happen is enough. From there we narrow it down, and when the case calls for it we start with a preliminary analysis, which can be commissioned separately and ends in a document you can base your decision on.
